You TOTALLY would – you and your globe-trotting amazingness. My friend decided against it, as the 40% increase in salary really isn’t a promotion as the area has a 45% increased cost of living (and housing is 160% more expensive) – Plus, the opp could potentially, definitely, still be there in a year so there’s not necessarily a HUGE rush.
